Every year we
hold a summer holiday club for any children aged between 5 and 11
years old. For 2008 it is called 'Champion's Challenge', using
sporting themes to look at how Jesus can change our lives.

CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE
HOLIDAY CLUB:
THEME: Based on Luke’s Gospel we gave the children a fun and active week,
teaching them about the life of Jesus. Using a different sporting title each day
we explained a different facet of who Jesus is, what he did as he lived on
earth as a man and why his death and resurrection are so important.
Monday: Trainer (Jesus teaches about hearing and obeying)
Tuesday: Physio (Jesus heals people)
Wednesday: Team-mate (Working as part of Jesus’ team)
Thursday: Substitute (Jesus died on our behalf)
Friday: Winner (Jesus is alive!)
