As well as our
regular Sunday services we encourage our members to be part of a
midweek group that meets in someone's home. These are meant for
encouragement, support, Bible study, fellowship and prayer. The
average size of a small group would be about a dozen.
We have a number of groups in our member's homes meeting on
different days and at varying times. Some are geographical groups
while others are more age or interest related.

18-30's Group:
This group meets on a Tuesday
evening, and is a Taunton wide group for this age range.
Afternoon Group: Led by Mary Nevin and assisted by Catherine
Cornish. This group meets on Wednesday afternoons, weekly, at
various local locations. The group is open to anyone with daytime
availability.
Canalside Group: Led by Rachel Hay, Pamela
Bennie & Lubna Kirby (Asst), this group is mostly comprised of
younger couples and singles, and meets on a Thursday in Creech St
Michael or Taunton.
Dillons Group: Led by Jackie Perry, Gary & Viv Grief, and
Evelyn Blake, this group meets on a Wednesday evening in central
Creech St Michael.
Gateway Group: Led by Martin & Nicola Fowler, David & Leslie
Browse & Debbie Paul, this group meets on Wednesday evening in West
Monkton.
Ruishton Group: Led by Brian & Penny Vincent & assisted by
Tim & Sylve Wellington, this group normally meets at various venues
in & around Creech St Michael.
Newlands Group: Led by Ralph & Marjorie Bullock and Malcolm &
Jasmine Riches,
this group meets in Ruishton on Tuesday evenings.
Orchards Group: Led by Reuben & Dawn Willcocks, Graham &
Carol Lunt and Ian Kelland, this group meets in Henlade or
Thornfalcon.
Puppet & Drama Team: Led by Nick Birch, those who are
involved in our puppet team ministry or drama, meet most weeks on a
Wednesday to practice their skills and spend time in prayer & study.
There are also a few informal groups that meet through the week.
